Rebecca Burnham Mills, affectionately known as “Beckie”, 67, of Indianola, passed away Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 at South Sunflower County Hospital in Indianola. Rebecca was born in Canton and was the daughter of Ray Otis and Gladys Bankston Burnham. She was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church in Indianola and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Todd. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Cindy Watkins and husband Rick of Indianola; brother, Wayne Burnham and wife Jan of Arkadelphia, Ark.; sister-in-law, Beth Burnham of Sunflower; grandchildren, Casey Montgomery, Melissa Purvis, Brittanie Montgomery, Blaine Montgomery; and great grandchildren, Madelyn Purvis, Cason Purvis and Avery Moore.
The family received friends Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the 11a.m. memorial service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burton Funeral Home waws in charge of arrangements.
