A graveside service for Rita Joan Pepper of Cleveland, Tenn. will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, at Moorhead Cemetery in Moorhead. There will be a visitation from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola prior to the service.
Ms. Pepper, 64, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018. She was a parishioner at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Cleveland, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Pepper Jr. and Kathryn Daves Pepper; a sister, Debbie Leard; a brother, Ricky Pepper and an infant daughter, Becky Pepper.
Survivors include her brother, Roy McCurdy and wife, Bonnie of Oak Grove, La.; sister, Annette Govero and husband, Jeff of Cleveland, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Jessica Pepper of Indianola; nieces and nephews: Steve Pepper, Kathryn Leard and Lauren Leard, all of Moorhead, Jeffery (Jessica) Govero and Jeremy Govero, all of Cleveland, Tenn., DeAna (Jeff) Nichols of Chatsworth, Ga., Elizabeth Pepper of Indianola, Shane (Shannon) McCurdy and Roy (Cindy) McCurdy, all of Oak Grove, La., and Olivia (Jay) Caskey of Monroe, La.; and all her friends and staff at Orange Grove and Life Bridges.
