Ronald “Ronny” Glenn Logan, age 80, of Belzoni, went to his eternal home on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. He was born to Ronald and Fannie Mae Logan of Inverness on Feb. 28, 1944.
Ronny was a member of First Baptist Church for many years. He and his wife, Sandy, were married in that same church in 1975. He was employed as a transportation engineer with MDOT for more than 50 years. Ronny was a hard worker, a devoted husband and father, and a caring uncle. He enjoyed reading, watching football and basketball, and engaging in conversation about all kinds of topics.
Ronny was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and half-brother, T. J. Jennings of Greenville.
He is survived by his daughter, Carrie Logan of Petal; five sisters-in-law, Doris Jennings of Greenville, Sue (Lonnie) Walker of Resaca, Georgia, and Peggy Duke, Nancy Baggett and Kathy (George) Gardner, all of Isola; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at First Baptist Church in Belzoni. The memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. George Johnson officiating. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
