Ruth Cooper Hume, 89, of Brandon, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018 at Brandon Court in Brandon.
Ruth was born Aug. 16, 1929 to Cornelius and Beulah Narmour Cooper in Swiftown. She was a beautician for most of her life. Ruth loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Warner Hume; son, Ronnie Lott; and sister, Esther McPherson.
Ruth is survived by her son, Jeff Lott and his wife Linda of Pearl; daughter-in-law, Lisa Lott of Indianola; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 2, 2018 from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery.
