Services for Sherry Ann Palmer Hayes of Indianola will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Mount Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, Indianola. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hayes, 70, departed this life on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola, which is in charge of arrangements.
The Rev. Adoris Turner, II will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Hayes is survived by: three sons, Robert Simms, Davis Hayes, Jr. and Tyronne (Daniela) Hayes; six sisters, Devora P. Hamilton, Debra (Alen) Chivers, Stephanie (Stanley) Phillips, Maryann (Vada) Lucas, Dr. Zandra (Stanley) Johnson and Dr. Valerie (Reynaldo) Reese; and two brothers, Alexander (Cathy) Palmer, Jr and Darryl (Gloria) Palmer. Through her marriage to the late Davis Hayes, Sr., she inherited four daughters, Jessie Miller, Ann Hooper, Doris (Donald) Taliferro and the late Vivian (Aaron) Byas; and four additional sons, Barkley (Gloria) Hayes, Henry (Nevonia) Hayes, the late Authur (Ozie) Hayes and the late Lee Wiggins (Liza) Hayes. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
