PEARL — Services for Stella L. Davis of Pearl, formerly of Indianola, will be today at 10 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church in Pearl.
Ms. Davis, 74, died Saturday, July 22, 2017 at her home.
Visitation will be today from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. today in Liberty Chapel Cemetery in Lexington.
Ms. Davis was born in Humphreys County to Thomas and Edna Davis. She lived most of her life around Indianola and moved to Pearl 10 years ago. She was an avid bowler and loved the outdoors. She enjoyed playing softball in her younger years and loved to go fishing. She was a second mother to most of her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, James Thomas Davis, Raymond Lee Davis and Willis Warren Davis.
She is survived by one brother, SGM Joseph Cecil Davis (Joan); four sisters, Wanda Moon, Barbara McBride (Pat), Juanita McLain (Ken) and Lynn Thornton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
