Services for Tamarius Johnson of Joliet, Ill. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ.
Mr. Johnson, 28, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2018.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the church.
Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, which is in charge of the arrangements.
Elder Henry Walker will officiate at the services.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his father, Timothy Berdin of Southaven; his mother, Geraldine Johnson of Little Rock, Ark.; two sons, Lundynn Johnson of St. Louis and Tamarius Johnson Jr. of Joliet; two sisters. Marquita Berdin of Memphis and La Tina Jones of Ruston, La.; 7 brothers, Tyredius Johnson of Jefferson City, Mo., Darrius Nelson of Jackson, Marquavis Berdin, Timothy Berdin Jr. and Cody Berdin, all of Memphis, Dontarius Berdin of Peoria and Michael Maiten of Indianola ; and a host of other relatives and friends.
