Services for Valerie Wash of Sunflower will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Persimmon Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Sunflower. Burial will follow at Willing Workers Cemetery, Sunflower.
Ms. Wash, 35, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2024.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. today at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola, which is in charge of arrangements.
Minister Cathy Anderson will officiate at the services.
Ms. Wash is survived by: her father, Shelly Parker; her mother, Liza Wash; two daughters, Quartashia Wash and Mikaylah Harris; six brothers, Dave Dawson, Terrance Wash, Hutch Dawson, Jerry Parker, Shelly Dawson and Robert Dawson Jr.; seven sisters, Stacia Wash, Lafayette Rounds, Shana Wash, Danielle Wash, Doretha Dawson, Shirley Parker and Minnie Dawson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
