Have you ever heard the scripture in the bible that talks about God supplying all of your needs according to His riches and glory by Christ Jesus?
It is found in Philippians 4:19. You know, this scripture has been a life changer for me.
When I first heard it, I just connected with it. I began to incorporate it into my prayers and my everyday language until it went from being just a Scripture to an actual anchor in my life. God has done some amazing things, and I believe that it all started when I made the decision to let Him supply all of my needs instead of trying to do it all on my own.
A lot of people try to fix situations and problems on their own, but just end up making the issue worse. I used to be that way, and I still do it sometimes but I try my best to go to my anchor, Philippians 4:19.
This anchor allowed me to work on my overall response to situations and controlling my emotions.
You see, when you know that God supplies all of your needs, you get to a point where situations and circumstances don’t affect you like they used to.
You learn to rely on God, which produces rest.
Rest is the key.
When you are resting in Him, you can allow Him to govern your life. It’s actually pretty refreshing because it takes pressure off of you as a person.
For example, I don’t have to worry about whether my business is going to be successful or not because I know that God supplies all of my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
That is my anchor and it centers me. It reminds me that there is no need for me to worry.
What is your anchor? If you don’t have one, think about something that you would like to work on and find a scripture that speaks to that particular area.
Who knows what God could have in store for you! God bless you!
