Were you brave enough to watch the Democrat presidential debates last week?
I tried to watch, but it was an uphill battle. Listening to those candidates was as depressing as anything I have ever seen on television.
Open borders, increased taxes on the middle class, free healthcare, free college tuition, cancelling of college student debt, Medicare for illegal aliens, and that was only the opening round.
If you believe any of that nonsense, I’ve got some bottom land down near the river that might interest you.
Bernie Sanders confirmed my opinion that he is a mad man.
His economic plan would bankrupt the United States in short order. “Pocahontas” promised that all student debt would be forgiven, and furthermore, “big corporations” would begin paying their fair share in taxes.
She even admitted that she would raise taxes on everyone.
Joe Biden, on the other hand, continued to put his front runner status in jeopardy.
I have stated numerous times that something is wrong with Joe. One pundit wrote that “Ole Joe has lost the zip on his fastball.”
My contention is that Joe never had much zip on his fastball.
I think the President may have summed it up the best when he said, “Obama took Joe from the trash heap and saved his career.”
There never was a more loyal soldier to Obama, but try as I might, I cannot find where Obama is endorsing Joe or even saying positive things about his once vice-president. Joe’s value to Obama has vanished and so has Obama. My guess is that when this field of candidates narrows down that Obama will come out strong for Kamala Harris.
But let’s be honest. Not one person on that stage can beat President Trump - not “Pocahontas,” not “Crazy” Bernie, not Kamala Harris, not “Ole Joe.” One newspaper printed on its front page, “How to lose an election.” We have people in this country who are socialists. They would do anything to change this country into a Cuba or a Venezuela. Why? I’m not sure. I know they hate this country as founded, and they hate conservatives. Conservatives are the enemy, people to be forcefully shoved to the side and made to follow the dictates of the “Progressives.”
The Constitution of the United States is a stumbling block to these “progressives,” and they have been doing everything that they can to make it “a living Constitution.” In other words, water down our Constitution so that it means what the “progressives” want it to mean. The second amendment doesn’t mean what it says, so take away everyone’s guns.
Pride in country has also declined. According to a recent Gallop poll, “The latest declines in patriotism are largely driven by Democrats, whose self-reported pride has historically been lower and has fluctuated more than Republicans. Democrats latest 22 percent extreme pride reading is the lowest in Gallop’s 19 years of measurement. Republicans, on the other hand, scored 76 percent on the extremely proud scale.”
Jimmy Carter, perhaps the worst president in recent memory, is clearly not proud of our country. He thinks that President Trump is an “Illegitimate President.” Carter is an old man who can be forgiven for some irrational thought, but this is definitely over the top. If Carter thinks the Russians put President Trump into office, he may need to leave the world stage. But I think he knows better. He is a super partisan who hates Trump as much as Hillary or Bernie, and deep in his heart, which he professes to be Christian, he wants Trump impeached. Trump Derangement Syndrome has overtaken Carter, and he just cannot help himself. The first time I heard him speak, I recognized that he was a loser who had no business in the Oval Office. Time has proved me correct.
Another America hating person is waiting in the wings to run for president, and it is Hillary Clinton. When it becomes clear that none of the announced candidates can win, Hillary will throw her toboggan into the ring. You can count on that.
