The Sunflower County Humane Society needs help, and thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, all donations between now and March 31, 2020, up to $10,000, will be matched dollar for dollar. That means that if you donate now your gift will be doubled. And even better, with no administrative overhead costs, 100% of donations collected go towards helping the animals.
The Sunflower County Humane Society is a 100% volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to saving strays and surrendered pets by providing medical attention and love with the goal of finding each of them a forever home. This mission is carried out by 300 dues-paying members and ten board members who partner with the Hough Dement Animal Shelter staff, the City of Indianola, and Dr. Hilliard Lawler, who provides veterinarian treatment at a reduced rate.
