Dear editor,
They are both almost equal, except one was long ago and one is in the 21st century.
Sodom and Gomorrah might have a slight edge over Moorhead, but not much. Sodom and Gomorrah was a place where everything goes, so is Moorhead.
It was a place to party, so is Moorhead; example-block parties every weekend and shootings all through the night.
Sodom and Gomorrah were cities where everything God said not to do, they did anyway. It's the same in Moorhead.
Who gives permission for these things to happen?
There is no demand for facemasks, no kind of protective gear is required, not even social distancing.
Do we even think about going home and what we might be carrying to our children, our parents, or our neighbors?
Where is the desire to protect our families and those around us? Just one more thing to think about – God got tired of what was going on in Sodom and Gomorrah, and He destroyed the city with fire and brimstone.
Is He getting tired of what is happening in this time? 2 Peter 3:10 says "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also, and the works that are therein shall be burned up."
What is next for Moorhead? Is our time coming sooner than we think?
Thank you,
Evangelist Mary Woods
