After playing an undefeated football team last Friday night, the Gentry High Rams now have an open date on their schedule.
Hopefully, this reprieve from action will allow the 0-6, 0-1 Rams to take a breath, heal, and regroup prior to continuing through their 2025 schedule in strong fashion.
When the Rams do return to action on October 17, they will help their school celebrate Homecoming by facing the Wildcats of Louisville High School in another regional clash.
As for last Friday’s competition, a first-ever trip to Kosciusko High School yielded a 45-8 regional loss to the now 6-0, 1-0 Whippets.
In that contest, the Rams found themselves down by a 36-0 score at halftime to the strong Kosciusko High squad.
The game would then move on to its final point total in the second half of play.
