SCMACS readies program as transitional shelter almost complete

It was once just a concept, born from a vision Rev. Phillip McGee and his wife Mary said they received from God six years ago.
The Sunflower County Transitional Homeless Shelter is now a reality, and the facility could hold a ribbon cutting ceremony sometime later this month.

Can you serve God when you have self-doubt?

Several months have passed since I fainted and took a face plant on my bedroom floor. I have always been fortunate enough to have good health and when I would stumble or fall, I could get myself back up. This time was different though. Not realizing my blood pressure was very low and being dehydrated, I could not get up from the fall.
