Services for Shirley Johnson of Indianola will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at Greater New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ Church, Indianola. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Johnson, 68, died Thursday, April 2, 2026.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, April 10, at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola, which is in charge of arrangements.
Elder Henry Walker will officiate at the services.
Ms. Johnson is survived by: husband, Joe Hutchins; son, Marquavus Johnson; daughter, Melissa Johnson; two sisters, Irene Johnson and Catherine Huey; three brothers, John, James and Willie Johnson; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
