13th Year Church Anniversary
First United Baptist of Moorhead will be celebrating its 13th year church anniversary. The theme is: “Hope is Our Anchor” and the theme Scripture: “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.” This celebration will commence at 11 a.m. Sunday. The right Rev. Bishop Charles E. Williams of Little Rock, Arkansas, will be the guest evangelist.

Swan Lake Missionary Baptist Church of Moorhead will be having its annual revival beginning 7 nightly Aug. 8 to Aug. 10. The guest evangelist for the three nights will be Pastor Eric Lee of the St. Paul Missioanry Baptist Church, of Olive Branch. The public is invited.

Explorer’s Bible Study
The Explorer’s Bible Study will begin classes for men and women at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14 and for women at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17 in the First Methodist Church chapel. They will be studying “Wise Answers from John and Ecclesiastes” (August-December) and “Wise Living from Proverbs and Song of Solomon” (January-April). Cost is $30 per semester.
