Dr. and Mrs. Lee Walker Coleman of Greenwood announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Madeleine Jane Coleman of Greenwood, to Michael Lee Sykes of Indianola.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Ray Watson of Burns, Tenn. and Dr. and Mrs. Michael Wallace Coleman and the late Mrs. Rebecca Walker Coleman of Greenwood.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Glenn Sykes of Indianola. He is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Ted Owen Ware of St. Francisville, La. and Mrs. Alford Sykes and the late Mr. Sykes of Indianola.
Miss Coleman is a 2015 graduate of Pillow Academy and will graduate from the University of Mississippi in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management. She is a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority.
Mr. Sykes is a 2014 graduate of Indianola Academy and will graduate from Delta State University in December with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
The couple will exchange vows on May 25 in Muscle Shoals, Ala. at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Michael Coleman with the Reverend Richard Owens officiating.
