Mr. and Mrs. Billie Rhea King of Inverness are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Anna Thompson, to James Bradley Wright, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Louis Wright, Jr., of Greenwood.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Lee Beckham, Sr., of Inverness and the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lloyd King of Inverness. She is a 2008 graduate of Indianola Academy. Anna Thompson obtained a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Mississippi University for Women and a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from University of Central Arkansas. She is currently employed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Cleveland School District.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Nason, Sr., of Greenwood, the late Mr. Roger Louis Wright, Sr., of Glen Allan, and Mr. and Mrs. James Gatlin of McGehee, AR. Brad is a 2005 graduate of Pillow Academy. He received an Associate of Applied Science degree in Machine Tool Technology from Mississippi Delta Community College. He is employed as a welding instructor at Mississippi Delta Community College and is the owner of Wright Welding and Door.
The couple will exchange vows in the presence of family on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at First Baptist Church in Inverness.
