Mrs. Ann Beckham McCurdy of Richardson, Texas, announces the engagement of her daughter, Whitney Beckham McCurdy, to Donald Gene Reynolds III, both of Inverness. Mr. Reynolds is the son of Mr. Donald Gene Reynolds Jr. and Mrs. Karen Klein Pennington.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Joe McCurdy of Richardson, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Lee Beckham Sr. of Inverness and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Glanton McCurdy of Glennville, Georgia. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gene Reynolds Sr. of Inverness.
Miss McCurdy graduated from Lakehill Preparatory School in Dallas, Texas. She attended Mississippi State University, where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She attended Brookhaven College in Dallas, Texas, where she received an Associate Degree in Nursing. She was a member of the Junior League of Dallas, Texas. She is currently employed as a Registered Nurse at Fresenius Kidney Care in Indianola.
Mr. Reynolds graduated from Central Delta Academy in Inverness and Indianola Academy in Indianola. He has been employed at Bills Body Shop in Ruleville for seventeen years.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, November 24, at six o’clock in the evening at First Baptist Church of Inverness. A reception will follow at seven o’clock at the B.B. King Museum in Indianola. All family and friends are invited to attend.
