Mr. and Mrs. Gil Worley of Indianola announce the engagement of their daughter, Cauley Maegan Worley, of Madison, to Houston Watson McDavitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Houston McDavitt of Brandon and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wasson of Starkville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dorothy Worley and the late Mr. Chandler Worley and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Cauley, all of Indianola. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lee McDavitt, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Shelton Little, all of McComb and Mr. and Mrs. Perk Wasson of Tallahassee, Florida.
A graduate of Indianola Academy, Maegan earned bachelor’s degrees in both Biological Sciences and Veterinarian Medical Technologies at Mississippi State University. She is currently a Veterinarian Technician at All Creatures Animal Care Center in Madison.
A graduate of Starkville High School, McDavitt is currently Kennel Manager at The Dog Wash in Jackson while serving as Staff Sergeant, 2nd Unit, 114th Field Artillery with the Mississippi Army National Guard in Columbus.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at The Ivy in Flowood.
