Rams to take on Green Wave in round 1

Van Cleve goes from diamond to fundraising at Ole Miss

One of Sunflower County’s favorite baseball players and 2022 World Series winner from Ole Miss was on hand at Indianola Rotary Club recently. Since his graduation from Ole Miss and the end of his amateur baseball career, Ben Van Cleve has taken on responsibilities at his college alma mater in the Athletic Foundation office.

The Gentry High School football team was celebrated with a $10,000 donation from H &A Painting, LLC. Owners Herman and Amanda Cole hosted the team recently at First United Baptist Church in Moorhead, along with Head Coach Mario Young and Sunflower County Consolidated School District Superintendent Dr. Miskia Davis.
