Four Sunflower County natives will hit the football field in Clarksdale tonight.
Three of those players, a pair of linebackers and an offensive lineman, will represent Coahoma Community College.
Indianola natives Marquavious Hollins, (linebacker) and Joseph Minniefield (linebacker) are on the 2017 Tiger roster, while Drew native and offensive lineman Joshua Starks appears on the Coahoma team as well.
They will be squaring off against Copiah-Lincoln Community College, where the roster features another Indianola native, defensive lineman Kendell Wirght.
The sophomore Wright stands at 6-foot-3 and 285 pounds.
Minniefield stands at 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds for the Tigers, while Hollins comes into the year at 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds.
Both teams are coming off of victories during week one of the football season, as Co-Lin took down Mississippi Delta Community College 31-6 and Coahoma took care of Southwest Community College by a 35-20 score.
