That action begins today and runs through next Tuesday beginning with the 6-1, 1-0 Colonels and the 6-5, 1-0 Lady Colonels opening their participation in the Kirk Academy Tournament in Grenada.
Today’s play begins at 2:30 p.m. for the Lady Colonels as they take the court against Manchester Academy of Yazoo City.

The final IA appearances in this Kirk Academy Tournament will occur this Saturday when the Lady Colonels take the court against Washington School at 12:15 p.m. and the boys’ game to begin immediately thereafter.
Very important IA basketball action will then open the 2018 calendar year next Tuesday when Bayou Academy of Cleveland visits the IA gym for a District 1AAA date.
The Lady Colonels will open that night’s play at 6 p.m. and will be followed by the Colonels and the Colts taking the floor.
