After a week off from competition due to weather, the 2017 Indianola Academy soccer season has resumed.
Hoping to rebound from Tuesday’s 1-0 loss to visiting Starkville Academy, the IA Lady Colonels soccer team paid a visit to Washington School in Greenville Wednesday evening.
Although the results of that game against the Lady Generals were unavailable at press time, the Lady Colonels entered the contest in hopes of improving on the 1-2 record they owned at the time.
Future action for IA Head Coach Ron Schlatter’s squad will find them beginning a string of three consecutive home games next Monday when Bayou Academy of Cleveland coming to IA for a 3 p.m. match-up.
The Lady Colonels will then take the field again next Wednesday when they will host Greenville St. Joseph High School.
