Attempting to get back into the win column again, the North Sunflower Academy Rebels will welcome an all-new opponent to their field this Friday night.
Coming to the NSA campus for a District 1 contest, as well as the Rebels’ final home game of the season, will be Prentiss Christian School.
However, for the 2-6 Rebels this match-up against the 3-5 Saints promises to be a real test for the NSA defense.
For the Saints bring a team which has won two of its last three games while scoring an average of 54 points per outing these past three weeks.
That average was enhanced by the 78-70 loss Prentiss Christian School absorbed last Friday night to Christian Collegiate Academy of Gulfport.
Meanwhile, last Friday night the Rebels saw their losing streak move to six games with their 54-14 district loss to Deer Creek School of Arcola.
In that loss, the Rebels received a 65 yard touchdown run from Jacob Henley and a 10 yard scoring pass from Dakota Dawson to Nick Billhofer to account for the Rebels’ scoring in this game.
