Fighting a tough, wet winter and early spring like every other team in the Delta, the North Sunflower Rebels are still searching for a win.
On Monday night the Rebels fell to Deer Creek, 11-3, at home. The team was led by Stephen Chamblee and Nick Billhofer who both went 1-for-3 and each had one RBI. Brandon Daniel added a run as well and Chamblee was tagged with the loss on the mound.
On Tuesday night, the Rebels lost to Humphreys Academy on the road, 14-2. Dakota Dawson was the losing pitcher in the matchup. Jacob Henley had an RBI while Billhofer added a run for the Rebels.
Next up for the Rebels is March 17 when they host Delta Academy at 4 p.m.
