The near-incessant rains are continuing to play havoc with the Gentry High Rams baseball schedule.
As a result of Tuesday’s game with Canton High having been washed away, the Rams will try once more this week to set foot on their diamond.
Their next attempt to open the 2020 season is scheduled to occur this Friday when the Leland High Cubs visit town.
First pitch of this non-regional clash is set to be thrown at 4 p.m.
Unless a thus-far rained out game is rescheduled prior to then, March 6 is the date of the next scheduled game for Gentry Head Coach Timothy Holmes’ squad.
On that day the Rams will play host to the Vicksburg High Gators.
