Northern District Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley joined Atmos Energy Corporation representatives, Clay County and West Point officials, and legislators for an announcement with The Mission, Inc.
As part of their “Fueling Safe and Thriving Communities Initiative,” Atmos Energy announced a $20,000 equipment donation to help assist The Mission as they transition to natural gas appliances and other upgrades. The Mission is a 501(c)3 ministry organization in West Point dedicated to providing evidence-based intervention, prevention, treatment, and recovery support services.
“I was proud to join with Atmos Energy today as they donated $20,000 in equipment to The Mission organization. This investment will help The Mission save on costs and improve services. It’s organizations like The Mission that truly make a difference in the lives of Mississippians each and every day. I’m grateful to Atmos for their commitment to supporting Mississippi communities like West Point,” said Commissioner Brandon Presley.
