Mary Catherine Brooks, Extension Associate for Mississippi State University and Delta Council, spoke to the Indianola Lions Club this week about the Forgotten Backwater Flood project which highlights the 2019 Yazoo Backwater Area flood and controversial 80-year history of the pumping plant that is yet to be built.
