Sunflower County 4-H member Cole Jobe has earned a spot on the 2026 Mississippi 4-H National Shooting Sports Team and will compete at the National Shooting Sports Championship this summer in Grand Island, Nebraska.
Cole has been actively involved in the Sunflower County 4-H Shooting Sports program for the past 10 years, developing skills in marksmanship, discipline, and leadership. He has competed in the Mississippi 4-H State Championship for the past four years and continues to represent Sunflower County with dedication and sportsmanship.
The National Championship will take place June 21–26, 2026, where Cole will compete alongside top 4-H shooting sports participants from across the country.
Cole will also be joined by his mother, Katrina Jobe, who will serve as the air pistol coach for the Mississippi 4-H National Shooting Sports Team.
This opportunity marks Cole’s final year competing in 4-H Shooting Sports, making this national qualification a significant milestone in his 4-H career.
Sunflower County 4-H is proud of Cole’s accomplishments and wishes him the best as he represents Mississippi on the national stage.
