• On Monday, June 30 at 12:33pm, the Ruleville and Drew volunteer fire departments responded to a residential structure fire in the 700 block of Carlton Street in Ruleville.
• On Thursday, July 3 at 2:01pm, the Inverness Volunteer Fire Department responded to a residential smoke alarm activation in the 600 range of Woodburn Road.
• On Thursday, July 3 at 11:02pm, Rescue 6, Ruleville and Drew volunteer fire departments responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 3800 range of US Highway 49. Two patients were transported by MedStat EMS.
• On Friday, July 4 at 8:22pm, the Indianola Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the 600 block of Hoover Street.
• On Friday, July 4 at 11:47pm, the Ruleville Volunteer Fire Department responded to a dumpster on fire in the 300 block of West Head Circle.
• On Saturday, July 5 at 2:28am, the Indianola Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire in the 600 block of West Gresham. The fire was out on arrival.
• On Saturday, July 5 at 8:27pm, a task force of two engines, one tanker and six firefighters from Ruleville, Linn-Steiner-Roundaway and the Sunflower County Fire Coordinator’s office responded to a mutual aid request from Tallahatchie County for a train derailment involving hazardous materials in Glendora.
• On Sunday, July 6 at 2:41pm, the Drew, Ruleville and Parchman fire departments responded to a report of two abandoned structures on fire in the 5100 range of US Highway 49.
