On Thursday, August 21 at 4:15pm, the Indianola Fire Department responded to a stove fire at a residence in the 300 block of Walker Street.
On Saturday, August 22 at 1:32pm, the Inverness Volunteer Fire Department responded to a grass fire on US Highway 49 near Caile.
On Saturday, August 22 at 9:17pm, the Ruleville Volunteer Fire Department responded to a grass fire at the intersection of Mississippi Highway 8 and North Ruby Avenue in Ruleville.
On Saturday, August 22 at 9:45pm, Rescue 1, Rescue 9, Indianola Fire Department and the Linn-Steiner Volunteer Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 400 block of Mississippi 448. The first of two occupants of one vehicle was transported by MedStat EMS to a regional trauma center, the second was transported by private vehicle. The single occupant of the second vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
