Nkamhoua leads No. 13 Tennessee's rout of Alcorn State 94-40

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Olivier Nkamhoua scored 20 points and No. 13 Tennessee flexed its defensive muscles in a 94-40 victory over Alcorn State on Sunday night.

The Volunteers (7-1) also got double-digit point production from Julian Phillips (18), Jahmai Mashack (13), Uros Plavsic (12), Tyreke Key (11) and Zakai Zeigler (10).

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A missed shot a month ago played a major role in Santiago Vescovi draining three clutch ones Wednesday night.

The junior guard hit two critical 3-pointers in regulation and another in overtime to rally No. 18 Tennessee to a 66-60 win over Mississippi.

“I’ve been confident in those shots,” he said.
