Not calling 811 before digging for a project may become costly.
Gov. Tate Reeves declared April as “Safe Digging Month” and this is a chance to roll out safety awareness to homeowners, contractors and professional excavators. 811 is the national “call-before-you-dig” hotline, according to a press release from Atmos Energy.
