The North Sunflower Academy Rebels have had a mix of youth and inexperience with a tinge of greatness all season. That gumption from both young and old players got the Rebels to the post-season for the second season in a row. The team’s 17-0 win over Marvell Academy put them into the post season.

Right tools can help but check the operator

It was a simple task. Scrape off one sticker on wife’s windshield and put on her crisp new park pass. I had all the right tools. A professional scraper with a long handle to get down into the dash. I scraped. Nothing happened to the sticker.

Home stand for Lady Trojans this week

It’s a three-game home stand for the Lady Trojans of Mississippi Delta Community College this week. The first matchup was a home-doubleheader with Coahoma Lady Tigers this past Wednesday. Sophomore Day was held to honor the team’s five sophomores – Taryn Clark, Anna Marie Sternisha, Shikeria Burks, Jaliyah Davis and Marqueshia Starks.
