Frustratingly for the Gentry High Rams baseball team, the wet weather has continued at a steady pace.
Given that scenario, the inability to play on a dry field has created a backlog of Region 2-4A baseball games for the Rams squad – a young team still searching for its first win of the season.
Attempting once again to get a regional game completed Thursday evening, the Rams took their 0-8, 0-2 record to Cleveland Central High School.
While the result of that contest against the Wolves was unavailable at press time, the Rams will once again hit the road next Thursday.
On that evening the Rams will travel to regional foe Canton High School to tangle with the Tigers.
First pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 4 p.m.
