Trojan Head Coach Ernest Jones knows another week in the MACCC means another tough opponent for his young team.
"I look for Northeast to run the ball with a dynamic tailback while taking advantage of our young secondary with the passing game," he said. "They're supposed to be pretty good on special teams."
The Tigers have been averaging 270 yard of offense per game - 119 rushing and 151 passing. They've put up 30 points per game but have been giving up 362 yards of offense to their opponents - 125 rushing and 237 passing but have only allowed 17 points per game. Both of their wins have come on the road against East Central and Southwest.
Sophomore Jeremiah Harrell quarterbacks the Tigers and has 302 yards passing with three TDs and one interception. His longest pass has been for 37 yards. Running back Qua Middlebrooks leads the Tigers with 130 yards on 34 attempts and has three rushing TDs. He also leads the team in receiving with 10 receptions for 80 yards.
Greg Davis, who is now the second-longest tenured head coach in program history with 11 years under his belt in that role.
