Mr. and Mrs. David Howard of Alexandria, Virginia announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Howard of New Orleans, to William David “Trey” Pearce III, also of New Orleans.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. David Pearce Jr. and Mrs. Kim (Johnny) Colburn, both of Sunflower.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Shaffer of Parrish, Florida.
Grandparents of the prospective bridegroom are Mr. David Pearce Sr. and Mrs. Sue F. Pearce of Sunflower and Mr. Gus Boyd and the late Mrs. Bobbie Boyd of Spring, Texas.
Rachel is attending New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary pursuing a degree in Missions.
Trey is also attending New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, pursuing a Master of Divinity degree in Evangelistic Church Growth. He is currently Associate Pastor of Christ Baptist Church of Harvey in Harvey, Louisiana.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, March 17, 2018 in Harvey, Louisiana.
