Ruben and Sara Woods of Indianola announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Sheawanna L. Woods of Southaven, to Marvin D. Finley of Crystal Springs, son of Frances Finley of Brookhaven and the late Jimmy Finley of Crystal Springs.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late C.O. and Ophelia Woods of Spring Hill.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late L.E. and Willie Mae Williams of Utica.
Miss Woods is a graduate of Gentry High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Jackson State University and a master’s degree in Literacy Education from the University of Mississippi.
Mr. Finley is a graduate of Crystal Springs High School and he attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Whispering Woods Bayou in Indianola.
