Disney World- the Happiest Place on earth, Yes, I think I can attest to that. I am currently here with my family, and for my first visit ever it has been magical. I’ve heard it could go either way: magical or miserable and the scales have tilted to the memorable and magical side.
We strolled Magic Kingdom first and all the inaugural visit musts. After lunch, we tried out the more daring rides. Space Mountain was my favorite in case you were curious.
I remember feeling weightless and being able to fly through space as much as you could in a large blacked out room with random lights and structures built in galactical form.
Disney, you did well. But as the ride ended for TRON, I clearly heard the Lord say, “ You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.” I knew in those few words he was referring to heaven. Anything on this earth pales to comparison to what He has in store.
God gave man the wisdom to create what we see on this earth. Can you imagine what He himself has for us and how glorious it will be?
As a Christian, I am assured of my salvation and my Savior’s love for me; so what’s my job now? Make disciples. And I have 5 of them.
Five young-faced disciples that God has loaned to me from heaven.
Yes, loaned to me.
They are not mine, and I have a very few years to raise them to fear the Lord. You cannot wait until they are twelve years old. Now is the time.
Teach them to pray, teach them that faith is as simple as believing God, teach them to fear the Lord, and most importantly take them to a good church where they can be with other kids their age who are excited about Jesus and whose families are on fire for the Lord.
Can I recommend Indianola First Methodist Church? Did you see on Facebook how many kids they had at their VBS and what a great time they showed them and how they taught them each day about trusting Jesus? In Acts in the New Testament when the Holy Spirit came and the Church was birthed, it says they added to their numbers daily.
This church is growing and I’m seeing more and more young families with children added to their numbers. I don’t care if you’re white or black, and guess what, they don’t either. Get in there! Teach your children about Jesus. The best is yet to come, and you don’t want them to miss it…for the world.
