Sunflower County football teams went 2-2 on Friday night, with Indianola Academy and Ruleville Central claiming victories.
The Colonels pounced all over the Stars of Winona Christian, in a home game where the offense and defense were clicking on all cylinders early.
IA won 35-6.
Ruleville Central won its second game in a row, 46-12 over Yazoo County to improve to 4-2 on the season.
Meanwhile, Gentry High School fell to Tunica Rosa Fort on the road by a 41-12 score.
North Sunflower Academy is still seeking its first win of the season after the Rebels fell to Hebron Christian 28-6.
Ruleville will host Charleston for homecoming next Friday night, while the Colonels head into a key AAA match against Bayou Academy.
