The Ruleville Central Lady Tigers seem to be hitting their stride after last Tuesday’s home 57-43 loss to Cleveland Central.
Led by one of the state’s top players in junior Jacorriah Bracey, the Lady Tigers have rattled off three wins in a row, including victories at the Gentry High School Thanksgiving Tournament last week.
Their most recent win, however, came against Greenwood High School, a sound 56-36 win.
Bracey was on fire during the Tuesday night matchup with 30 points scored on the night, to go along with 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal.
Add Taqueria Turner’s 12 points and 5 rebounds, and that set up the dominating win.
Prior to that, Bracey scored 23 points in the loss to Cleveland Central, with 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals. Mekevia Shaw had 15 points and 8 rebounds as well.
RCHS went on to defeat Ray Brooks 66-49 at Gentry, with Bracey setting the pace with 37 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, 5 steals and 1 block. Shaw also scored 16 points in that game, with 7 rebounds.
The Lady Tigers would finish the weekend with a 64-11 win over Woodale High School (Tenn.). Bracey put up 26 points in that contest, with 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 3 steals.
Shaw had 13 points and 8 rebounds.
Ruleville is set to host Gentry on Friday night.
