There is now but one regular-season soccer match remaining on their schedule.
And when they take Manchester Academy’s field next Monday at 5:00 p.m. in Yazoo City, the 4-6 Indianola Academy Colonels will be bent on creating a positive outcome.
No. 10 Jaeho Seo comes in as Hamp Judson gets control of the ball during Monday’s match.
That match with Manchester Academy will also serve as the final competition prior to the Valentine’s Day’s start of the Division III State Playoffs.
In other regular season play this past week, a pair of losses was experienced by the Colonels.
Most recently, a Tuesday visit to Greenwood yielded a 4-1 loss to the Delta Streets Academy Lions.
No. 6 Bailey Partridge moves the ball after leaving his feet during Monday afternoon’s home match against St. Augustine.
Hamp Judson’s goal in this match enabled the Colonels to avoid a shutout.
However, on Monday the Colonels suffered a shutout by way of a narrow 1-0 home-field loss to the Gryphons of St. Augustine School of Ridgeland.
