Indianola Chamber Main Street Beautification Committee has been busy getting things ready for its annual “City Wide” cleanup.
ICMS Beautification Committee, City of Indianola Public Works and Keep Indianola Beautiful are working together to help residents with their Spring Cleaning.
Beginning April 1 and going through April 10, residents may leave household items at their curb and it will be picked up by public works or you may take those items to one of three dumpster locations in town.
Acceptable items include: furniture, bedding, electronics, etc. (no paint, roofing material, tires). Dumpsters will be located at Public Works with hours Monday-Friday 7 a.m. -4 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m. -noon.
Additional dumpsters will be placed on Bates Street across from the Bethune Center and on Garrard across from Carver Elementary.
Everyone is asked to pitch in and plan a neighborhood cleanup of their streets during this time. You can contact Robin Rosenthal, Director of KIB and she will assist you with supplies and help with coordination suggestions.
Working together we can clean up our community!
