The Indianola driver’s license office is hitting the road.
The Department of Motor Vehicles announced that the Indianola office, located at 1192 U.S. 49 South, will be closing permanently today at noon and will be moving to Greenville on May 1.
The office’s new location will be at 3935 U.S. 82 W in Greenville.
“All services previously offered at the Indianola Driver Service Bureau will be transferred to the Greenville Driver Service Bureau,” said Chris Virges, director of marketing & public relations for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
The Greenville location will be a fully functional station and will also process CDL transactions beginning on May 3, Virges said.
The new location will operate Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., according to the bureau’s website.
No other changes were noted in any other Delta driver’s license office locations on the website.
Those other locations include Cleveland, Grenada, Greenwood and Clarksdale.
