Lady Trojans head to Holmes today

The Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojan softball team will be on the road on Good Friday taking on Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Co-Lin sits atop the MACCC with a 20-2 overall record and a perfect 7-0 in the MACCC.

Sporting an 8-17 overall record and 1-9 in the MACCC, the Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans baseball team hosts Copiah-Lincoln Community College, 16-16 overall and 4-4 in the MACCC, on Good Friday. First pitch is at 1 p.m. for the doubleheader at the Jimmy Bellipanni Baseball Complex.

Lady Trojans wrap-up 2024 season, first round loss in playoffs

A historic start out of the gate, gave the Lady Trojan basketball team a good foundation for MACCC play. MDCC finished in 10th place with a 6-8 conference record and 16-11 overall. They lost in the first round of the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament on the road to a tough Northeast Mississippi Lady Tiger team, 90-60.

Lady Trojans pick up first season win

Coaching on his “home turf” of sorts, Mississippi Delta Community College Head Softball Coach Tre Hobbs picked up his first win. The 2-1 “home” win over Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College was played in Cleveland at Coach Hobbs’s alma mater – Delta State University.
