Gadsden State Community College is the opponent for the Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojans softball team at Northwest Community College on Friday. Then the MACCC season begins as Southwest comes to Moorhead on Saturday, March 7, for a 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. doubleheader. The ladies then travel to Itawamba on Tuesday, March 10, for a 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. doubleheader.
Over their 18 games so far, the Lady Trojans have scored 104 runs and have a .295 batting average with five home runs. Rebecca Satsky leads the team with a .359 batting average, followed by Raelynn Darby at .353, Tiara Campbell at .326, and Rivers Wilkins at .304.
Callie Henderson has a 4.50 ERA, followed by Ava Till at 5.70, Brooklyn Droddy at 6.72, Ella McCain at 7.00, Morgan Woods at 8.06, and Rylie Lucroy at 11.00. The team's ERA is 6.86.
