The Indianola Mayor and Board of Aldermen held an unusually brief meeting last Monday night, addressing a full agenda in just 90 minutes, with a proposal for a new fireworks store taking center stage.

IA bats come alive late, claim 5-4 home victory

For this past Tuesday night on their home field in Chism Park, the Indianola Academy Lady Colonels softball team claimed a long-awaited victory by way of a 5-4 decision over visiting Canton Academy.
