On Sept. 11, State Sen. Willie Simmons and six members of his team (John "Bear" Lloyd, Reginald Simmons, Bernest Clark, Leslie Gregory, Brian Gunn and Bryant Kimbrough) traveled to Houston Texas to deliver over 85,000 pounds of supplies and canned food to assist those in need.
