When Indianola Academy officially begins the 2025-26 school year in a couple of weeks, it will do so with two new principals.
Andrea “Andie” Helms, who will serve as the elementary school principal, and Teresa Webster, who will be the secondary principal, introduced themselves to the Indianola Rotary Club this past Tuesday.
Helms comes to IA with over two decades of teaching experience. Most recently, Helms served as a 4th and 5th grade math teacher at Hilton Head Preparatory School in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
Webster is no stranger to Sunflower County, serving for over 30 years in multiple roles at Mississippi Delta Community College. She retired this past January following a year in which she was interim president, following the retirement of Dr. Tyrone Jackson.
